I would like to play paintball and/or airsoft on a large circular plot of woods nearby where I live. I do not know whether it is public vs. private property or who owns it. There are house surrounding about half of it (forming a semicircle) but I would be playing in the center about half a mile away from each. My only concern is the legality of playing in this location because it is quite possible that someone could come in and call the police. I live in RI by the way so if someone could give me a specific answer for both public and private property in RI that would be great. Otherwise a general answer for both public vs. private would be good. Thanks. Most helpful and detailed response gets 5 stars and best answer.

Is there a website that i can go to that will show me how much prices are for filippinos? I’ve been to a bunch of sites, but you know they are selling to americans or europeans when they are selling their properties in dollars & euros and not pesos. A half acre of land should not cost 200,000 dollars in the philippines and I would just like to find a site that has real prices that they would normally charge to filippinos and not the inflated prices they charge to me because i am white. I dont like the fact that i would have to pay more for land there than I do here! So if there is a website that actually sells properties at regular filippino prices (because i know filipinos are not paying 10 million PHP for small tracts of land) then that would be great if you could direct me there. (and yes i know americans cant own land there, but i have a filipina wife.)

I’m running Windows XP. I have a file that I didnt want my 13 year old opening. In the Windows Help and Support Center, It showed me how to password protect a file. I went through the steps. I wrote down the password so I wouldnt lose it. But now when I go to open it, It wont ask me for a password, and it says “access is denied”
I have already done the “show hidden files and folders” under folder options, but it didnt make any diffrence. And I am listed as Owner on my PC. I even got frustrated and tried to delete the whole file, but it wont even let me do that.
If I right click and hit properties, on the general tab, the attributes have a check on “hidden”. When I uncheck it and hit apply, an error comes up saying “access is denied” .
Please help.

Our current tax laws provide tax exempt status for religion-owned buildings. Mosques, churches and temples go unburdened in our society and yet, as the cornerstones of their respective religious organizations they are the chief places of business and the primary money-makers for their organizations. Just as for Wal-Mart’s and it’s stores, a religion without it’s chief commercial building would probably fail no differently than Wal-Mart would without it’s super-centers. Has freedom of religion been interpreted incorrectly with regards to our real estate tax laws? Is it time to re-think this matter of public law? Please explain the rationale supporting your position on this issue.
